Game Times: Games shall be played using 4 quarters.
The 8-10 year olds play 7-minute quarters with a running clock and will have a 1 minute intermission between quarters.
The half time intermission will be 5 minutes.
The clock will stop on fouls only, not violations,
in the last 2 minutes of each half (2nd and 4th quarters).
The 11-12 and 13-14 year olds play 8 minute quarters with a running clock and will have intermissions of 1
minute after the 1st and 3rd quarter, and (time permitting) 5 minutes after the 2nd quarter.
In the last 2 minutes of each half (2nd and 4th quarters), the clock shall stop on all whistles.
Tie Games: Games for 8-10 year olds that end in a tie will be declared a tie game.
Games for older players that end in a tie at the end of regulation play shall have an additional 2 minute, stop-clock overtime period to determine a winner, following a 30 second intermission. The overtime will begin with a jump ball. After the first overtime if a tie remains, a second overtime period may occur if there is sufficient time remaining before the next game is to start. If after a second overtime a tie remains, the game shall be called and a tie is declared. One time out is permitted per team in each overtime period.
Rescheduling of Games: No games should require rescheduling. Only the commissioner of that division may reschedule a game. Each coach of the teams involved must concur with the reschedule.
Championship: The championship determination is made by the best overall record of each division. Should a tie occur, a playoff at the end of the season will be scheduled. "Head-to-head" results is not considered.
